80 Proof, "Rye Recipe" Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Wine Enthusiast rating: 89
Tasting Notes
Colour:-Medium Gold
Nose:- this shows a complex, well-balanced nose that shows both dry, peppery notes and a rich honey-vanilla sweetness.
Taste:-The body is medium, leaning toward full, and the palate follows the nose being at once dry and sophisticated with some tingly spicy notes, and also showing a sweet side full of toffee, vanilla and a rich oakiness.
Finish:- The finish is very long and very satisfying.
Comments:-This is a well-crafted Bourbon with a balance that's hard to beat. Sip it neat, on the rocks, or in a Manhattan cocktail.

Tasting Notes
Colour:- medium-gold
Nose:- This whiskey presents aromas showing a honeyed sweetness playing off some drier peppery notes and a hint of old leather.
Taste:-The body is very big, and the palate is elegant and rich, with the toffee sweetness playing off a potpourri of spices.
Finish:- The finish is long and smooth.
Comments:-This whiskey should be reserved for post-prandial consumption, where it should be served neat (although it does work well over ice).

90 Proof, "Rye Recipe" Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Wine Enthusiast rating: 92
Tasting Notes
Nose:- The nose is complex and dry, but there is honeyed backdrop that balances the predominant peppery aromas nicely.
Taste:-The body is big, and the palate, like the nose, is drier than younger versions of Old Charter, bringing a rich bunch of spices to the forefront and keeping the sweeter notes, now fruity rather than honeyed, as a backdrop.
Finish:-The finish is long and spicy.
Comment:- Another great whiskey from Old Charter – Sip it neat or on the rocks.
