Colour: - Golden
Nose: - Fine unpeated malt, yeast and water drawn from the dark aromatic Isle of Mull's peat lochans, combines with the unique climatic characteristics from Tobermory Bay to ensure a fresh, lightly peated, smoky nose.
Palate:- The pleasantly surprising taste profile is medium dry with a smooth and fruity tang.

Appearance: A tantalising natural colour of golden chestnuts
Nose: A lovely sherried nose with notes of fig, orange marmalade, hints of leather and a touch of smoke
Palate: Medium to full bodied. Rich sherry fruit cake, milk chocolate, creamy toffee, light oak, a hint of white pepper creating a lovely spicy tang
Finish: Softly spicy, tingling with a nutty note, a hint of salt, lingering then gently fades
Ledaig Single Malt WhiskyTasting Notes Review
The Ledaig (pronounced “Led-chig”) has become synonymous with the peated style of single malt from the Tobermory distillery The malted barley has been peat dried only, with the naturally peat infused water source adding an additional element of depth to the whiskies final profile. With maturation having taken place on the Scottish mainland in central Scotland, in superior oak wood has ensured an idyllic balance of peat, smoke and wood.
The Ledaig Original Tasting Notes review
Nose: - Distinct peatiness and fully influences the senses with a prevalence of fresh sea air
Taste: - Leaves no doubt of the unique Hebridean island heritage, with evidence of Tobermory seaweed and dry smoke,- a subtle milk chocolate flavouring leaves a lasting impression on the palate.
Finish: - Long and pleasant with a satisfying ginger sweetness and mellow soft warmth.

Colour: Bright lemony gold.
Nose: Sweet briny smokiness with a distinctly island character that hints at mild antiseptic, creosote, wax polish, mint chocolate and floral seaside aromas.
Palate: Tantalisingly sweet yet medicinal flavours release sparks of spicy pepper with peaty smoke and vanilla malty creaminess.
Finish: Spicy white pepper and sweet vibrant liquorice and cloves with a lingering saltiness Un-chillfiltered @ 46.3%.

Tasting Notes Review
Distilled in 1996 at the Tobermory Single Malt Whisky Distillery.
Bottled in 2014 by Gordon & MacPhail under the Connoisseurs Choice Range.
Appearance; Dark Straw.
On the nose; Aromatic with sweet cured meat and hints of green olive and toasted malt.
Palate; Black pepper with orange and red apple flavours. These combine with an underlying peat smoke edge.
With water added
On The nose: Sweet vanilla with green apple and menthol aromas. Salty sea air and peat smoke notes develop.
Palate; Sweet and peppery with strawberry and lemon. Becomes creamy with milk chocolate combining with lingering cigar ash edge.
Body; Light to Medium. Finish; Long and smoky.
